Pandemic influenza H1N1 virus has been reported from all the countries in the world. 15,000 laboratory confirmed deaths have been reported, World Health Organization.

As per January 26, 2010 the total number of deaths that was confirmed officially was 15,000 and all most all the countries in the world have reported the infection of swine flu. World health organization said its weekly report.

The influenza was active in the northern hemisphere during the months of October and November 2009 and it is found to decline in the expected areas. The activity of virus still prevails in North Africa, and in some parts of eastern and southeastern Europe and in southern and eastern Asia. Infrequent infection of the virus is still being reported in the southern hemisphere.
