All over the world the death toll goes to 13,554 due to swine flu – WHO.
On the weekly report of WHO which was released on Friday says that all over the world at least 13,554 have been died of swine flu since the national pandemic started in April 2009.
Of the total death America has reported 7,016 deaths while Europe with 2,788 deaths. While other regions included are: Western Pacific (1,447), South-East Asia (1,289), East Mediterranean 883), and Africa (131) deaths respectively.
H1N1 virus infection was declared as a national pandemic on June 2009 by WHO. Till now the virus has affected 208 countries all over the globe.
According to the latest news the most affected areas are North Africa, South Asia, and East and Southeastern Europe. And in Western Europe, East Asia, and America, the overall activity of the pandemic influenza seems to decline continuously.
