Suggestions that swine flu was a forged epidemic shaped for the advantage of medicine companies have been trashed by the World Health Organization (WHO).
UN agency issued a statement critical to the allegations in front of a meeting in Strasbourg of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
WHO said that from last year January 17 more than 209 countries were affected by the H1N1 influenza strain and more than 14,000 deaths was reported all over the globe. This ration excludes many of the unreported cases.
The strong statement by the WHO said that “The world is going through a real pandemic. The description of it as a fake is wrong and irresponsible.”
