Researcher of Ohio State University made a study on the analysis and behavior of the H1N1 virus. They suggest that the flu virus may become a challenging one to the Tamilflu.

Ohio State University scientist had traced the history of the H1N1 influenza virus which started to infect the humans during the year1918. It is one among the 3 seasonal influenza viruses that affects human. The other two virus that affect humans are H1N2 and H3N2.

H1N1 virus itself has two strains within it. One is a seasonal form and the other is a pandemic form knows as swine flu which now has affected many people and killed thousands of them.

The scientist traced the strains of the virus from the day of its emergence from the last spring till last December. And they found the changes in the amino acid allow the virus to survive the effects of Oseltamivir – an agent of tamilflu.
