And especially if you are in a swine flu affected area or want to talk to an affected person then wearing a face masks is highly useful since you can unintentionally catch a bit of their saliva in your mouth. People suffering from the respiratory diseases or swine flu should avoid going out of the house. They should limit the public contact for their safety and others getting affected by them in the society. Mostly people should avoid touching other peoples the more you avoid the lesser chance you have for affecting. Avoid touching your own eyes, nose and mouth frequently without any reason. H1N1 virus is not transmitted through food so eating pork is not a matter unless it is properly cooked at a proper temperature.

If a person suffers from fever, cough, tiredness, sore throat, chills, head and body aches, diarrhea and vomiting take them immediately to the physician.

Try to limit the use of public transportation if you are in swine flu affected areas. This sound little harder but it makes a difference of coming in contact with the virus affected people. Since this virus seems to spread from person to person.

Drugs like antiviral and tamiflu can reduce the effects of this flu if taken early.
