It has 767 laboratory confirmed cases.

But this is not the true number as many people with the flu like symptoms is not swabbed for the laboratory analysis.

The other European countries that are worst affected are Germany (15, 567), UK (13,095), Portugal (2,244), Italy (1,800), Greece (1,839) and Spain (1,538).

Some countries lack proper supervision facilities and this may be the reason that gives the impression that the country has low swine flu information than the others.

Health experts have also warned that since swine flu is the prevailing one, people should not avoid vaccinating themselves against other seasonal flu’s and other dreadful diseases. They also said that authorities are planning to vaccinate the health care workers against the normal flu before winter.

Europe swine flu cases rise to more than 43,000

Date: 27th August 2009

The health official of Europe said that the country has more than 43,000 swine infected people. 745 new cases were reported on Wednesday.

Of all the new cases Germany confirmed 615 cases, Sweden 84, Switzerland 25 and the remaining from other countries.

This report was said by the ECDU in its last report and it also said that the country now has 43,990 swine flu cases.

Ramadan pilgrimages to Saudi are hit by H1N1 virus

Date: 20th August 2009

Muslims fasting month of Ramadan has a mist because of the rising swine flu cases and increasing swine flu deaths.
