Since the mid October the deaths due to swine flu doubles every two weeks, says European centre for diseases control and Prevention.

The report from the ECDC says that in Europe swine flu deaths are doubling every two weeks since the late mid October with 166 deaths in the past week.

The report further said that all over the region 667 people have been affected by the H1N1 virus and have been died since the first suspected in late April. New cases of swine flu are being reported by all the European countries and also from the European free trade association countries.

ECDC have also published the number of people in the intensive care units. This includes 180 patients in UK, 81 in France, 38 in Netherlands, 24 in Norway and 20 in Ireland.

Moldovan soldiers are given onions and garlic to fight against swine flu.

The soldiers in the Moldovan army are given garlic and onions to help them to fight against swine flu. The soldiers in the camp will get 25 gm of onion and 15 grams of garlic in their diet daily to keep them residents against the flu.

This idea was implemented since onion and garlic has been used as a traditional remedy in the Moldova to boost the immune system.

This prevention step was taken as a result of the 24 soldiers contracting the swine flu virus. Moreover 1000 people are infected by the virus and at least 90 fresh cases of swine are being reported by the country.

In Catalonia two women died of swine flu. The country toll rises to 12. The number of infected cases also doubles.

Two women aged 63 and 68 died of swine flu in Catalonia taking the toll of the country to 12. The number of infected cases in the country also doubles.

Till now 130 cases of swine flu cases was detected out of which 12 has died and 22 of the people are still in an emergency condition and 40 of them are admitted in the hospital.

The ECDC said that the swine flu deaths double the last four weeks. Head of ECDC said that they are entering a globally acceleration phase.

The European center for disease prevention and control on Wednesday said that 84 people have died in 31 European union and association countries.

According to world health organization the swine flu pandemic is very sever in northern hemisphere in countries like Ireland, Iceland, and Ural region in Russia. Countries like Norway, Netherlands, and Sweden are also experiencing the same level of effect with flu virus.
As per the record till now 414 people have died in Europe because of swine flu since the outbreak began in last April. The death ratio in the European countries is UK with 155 death, Spain with 73, Italy with 31 and France with 30.
Most of the people who have contracted the swine flu virus in Egypt are under the age of 30. Till now Russia has confirmed 4560 swine flu cases.
With the increasing number of swine flu deaths and infection the flu vaccination are under way.

A 15 year old boy died of swine flu in Bulgaria. He was the seventh victim in the country and first in black sea town.

The health ministry of Bulgaria said that a 15 year old boy died of swine flu in a hospital in coastal town of Varna. The boy was the seventh victim in the country and he is the first one in Black sea town. The boy belongs to a town called Kavarna.

With the increase number of swine flu cases the health ministry of the country has announced swine flu as a national epidemic emergency starting from Monday.

As a preventive measure all the schools are shut till November 16 and has also limited the number of public events.

But there is no restriction for closing the cinema theater, libraries and other public places though they have announced the national epidemic.
