Pacific Islands can diagnosis swine flu infection from home. A new partnership has made this possible.

A new partnership has made the United States affiliated Pacific Islands to diagnosis the swine flu infection at home itself instead of sending the sample far away for testing.

The partnership is made between the Pacific Islands Health Officers, Hawaii’s Department of Health, and the Association of Public Health Laboratories.

On Tuesday the department said that this agreement will fund for testing in 10 laboratories in the Islands.

The United States affiliated pacific Islands are Guam, Northern Marianas, American Samoa, Palau, Marshall Islands, and the Micronesia.

Transporting the samples for testing takes a long time and is also complicated. It can also humiliate the specimens which delays the testing.
