Nicola Roxon the federal health minister of Australia launched the biggest vaccination program as a step to fight the swine flu virus.
Health minister said that the program has 21 million doses of vaccine and it cost around $100 million to the government
At the start of the program, a total of about 5.5 million doses of vaccine have been distributed all over the country
The fist vaccine program has been started to vaccinate about 30 percent of the total population
Ms Roxon told the reporters that she was very much satisfied about the vaccination program and also said the vaccines are strong and effective
Health minister refused the negative facts about the vaccine and said the some might get side effects like mild sickness or aching arm. But this is much better than getting into swine flu said she
It seems that till January 2 million doses of swine flu vaccine might be available each month
Health minister have advised people with high risk illness group, pregnant women and people suffering from chronic illness to get the vaccine immediately
