Two more people have died of swine flu taking the total number of deaths in the country to 1332. The official statement said today.

The deaths were reported from Maharashtra and Haryana.

Eight fresh case of swine flu was reported in the country. The new cases were from Karnataka (6), Gujarat (1), and Rajasthan (1).
With the new 8 laboratory confirmed cases of swine flu the total number of infected people have raised to 29,490.

A mother lost her child in Chumphon’s Lang Suan District of Thailand. The mother feels that the death of her child is related to the National vaccination for swine flu.
A woman who belongs to Thailand submitted a complaint to the local police authorities after the death of her child. She has stated in the complaint that her child’s death might be related to the swine flu vaccination. At present the ministry of public health is investigating the case and the result is expected to be revealed next week.
The father of the six months old baby said that he and his wife were really shocked by losing their child. The father added that the child died nearly from trauma. The child was reported to be healthy and did not have any signs for any disease or birth related problems. Within the last month there have been several other instances but health ministry of Thailand said that there is no link between the vaccinations and the deaths.
The other case was a fetal death which happened five days after when the mother receiver the vaccination in which the unborn baby has a brain haemorrhage. Another one was in the southern province of satun but it is whispered that the she might have lost the baby due to smoking marijuana.

A new wave of swine flu hits the Northern Province of Bac Kan, Health Officials.
Preventive Health and Environment Department says that 18 people have been infected by the H1N1 virus. The affected peoples are showing symptoms like high fever, cough, sore throat, and pains in muscles and joins. The department further added.
This information was announced by Dr. Nga in a meeting that was held for the National Steering Board for Human Flu Prevention on February 3, 2010 in Hanoi.
The reported further added that earlier in January 27, 2010 school students in Dong Xa have been infected by the illness.
Dr. Nga said that this epidemic is quite complicated and so he has asked the health ministry to order the medical clinics to improve their H1N1 monitoring cases to the strongest possible.
Hospitals also have been asked to take the necessary steps to monitor the flu’s.
They have also planned to limit the flow of visitors from the affected regions in order to detect the swine flu cases quickly.

8 year old girl death in pune on Friday has sprinkled the fears in the mind of many doctors and paramedics who had refused to get vaccinated assuming that H1N1 virus has lost its potential.
Doctors who had refused to get vaccinated against the H1N1 virus have now given their consent for vaccination with the death of an 8 year old girl.
5000 doctors and paramedics are ready to be get vaccinated when the flu shots arrives next week. More doctors have come forward looking for the vaccine said the Additional Chief Secretary Sharvaree Gokhale.
Senior officer of the state government said that all the doctors and paramedics were given a form asking where they want get the swine flu vaccine. Following girl’s death many doctors have come forward to rework their forms. The final count says that only 100 doctors have said no to the swine flu vaccine.
Pune Sassoon General Hospital Dean Dr. Arun Jamkar said that there was a talk about the adverse effects of the swine flu vaccine the doctors were right in taking it. He said that according to me the virus keeps on changing its anti-genecity and hence the efficacy of the vaccine would be variable. The latest trend suggests that there might be at least one or two deaths related to swine flu every month. So it would be wise decision to get the swine flu shots. He further added that about 90% of the doctors who have attended the swine flu cases have decided to get the flu shots.

With the last two deaths Maharashtra has reported 315 deaths the highest in the country. the other states report are Gujarat with 230, Rajasthan with 176, Karnataka with 141 Delhi with 93, Andhra Pradesh with 52, Punjab with 38, Kerala with 36, Haryana with 36, Madhya Pradesh with 22, Uttar Pradesh with 18, and Uttarakhand with 13.
And 13 fresh cases of swine flu infection were reported all over the country. With these 13 cases the total number of the laboratory confirmed cases goes to 28,775. The new cases were reported by Gujarat (8), Rajasthan (2), Karnataka (1), Orissa (1), and Uttar Pradesh (1).
