Official report said on Wednesday that Karnataka death toll rises to 28 after the death of a 31 year old software engineer on late Tuesday evening.

The software engineer was admitted with the serious symptoms of pneumonia at Lakeside hospital on August 28. He has also suffered from fever for a week before he was admitted in the hospital.

On august 29 his throat samples were sent for a test and the report received on September 1st confirmed that he was suffering from swine flu. He was fisted medicated by tamilflu and then put into ventilator for the past three days.

Another 38 year old man died Monday testing positive for swine flu. He was admitted in a private hospital on August 29 and the test samples report arrived on Tuesday confirmed his swine flu infection.

Only on Tuesday Karnataka reported 22 swine flu case, Bangalore reported 14, Belgaum reported 6 and Mysore with 2 cases.

With all these infection the number of swine flu affected cases in the state rises to 485.
