Health officials said on Monday that the two swine flu deaths were reported in Bangalore taking the death rate to 36. And Karnataka death rate was 43.
The two victims were women aged 29 and 24. The 29 year old woman was 20 weeks pregnant and had the swine flu infection for the past four days.
The 24 year old woman was suffering from diabetes and died on Friday at a private hospital.
The two victims swine flu infection was confirmed on Friday only.
Group of experts will conduct a clinical audit to find out the exact reason for the swine flu deaths under the guidance of V. Ravi (head of neuro virology department of the national institute of NIMHANS).
The group has planned to study each swine flu case and find out the exact causes for the deaths.
At the same time 17 people were tested positive for the swine flu infection in the state.
