Officials of Manama said on Sunday that in Bahrain a southeast aisan woman became the first victim to die of swine flu.
The southeast aisan woman in her thirties was brought to salmaniya medical complex in critical condition on Wednesday.
The authorities said that the woman was a Filipino and they are working together with the Philippine embassy to identify that woman and her prevalence into the country.
The medical staff Dr al-Awadhi said that they are unable to identify her source of infection, since she was brought with a serious medical condition they are not able to ask her about the source of infection. She was also suffering from other medical illness which mired her from responding to the treatment and made a way to her death.
