Algeria gets its first batch of swine flu vaccine. 450,000 does of vaccine has been distributed. And another 900,000 does being expected by December end.
Health ministry spokesman said that Algeria has been giving its first batch of swine flu vaccine. And another 900,000 doses are expected at the end of December. The spokes man further said that the part of the vaccines will be taken to Pasteur institute for analysis.
The remaining vaccines will be kept in Boumediene international airport where they will be stoked on.
Though there is an urgent state in the country to provide the vaccines the ministry says that the experts of the Pasteur institution would be given enough time to analyze the vaccines before vaccination.
To prevent the people from getting infection against the national epidemic the mask would be available free.
The ministry further said that Algeria has so far reported 16 swine flu deaths.

Officials have encouraged the health care workers to report the suspected cases having negative effects for the vaccine.
The most frequently reported a negative effect is the injection site (reactions like pain, swelling, and redness).
